Welcome to Greenwood Christian School’s website.
GCS is a collection of outstanding educators and hundreds of students who come from six surrounding counties and represent more than 75 churches. While we are diverse in nature, we come together as one large family. At GCS, students are not merely numbers. Each person is an individual with God-given talents and a unique story that combines to make us a great school.
Our curriculum offers a variety of academic courses, including Honors, AP and Dual Enrollment. We provide numerous extra-curricular activities through our athletic and fine arts departments as well as leadership organizations and community service opportunities. We recognize many schools offer similar options. However, I strongly believe that our attention to the spiritual development of the student is our distinguishing characteristic. Upon graduation, we desire that each student be firmly equipped to perform, influence and serve our community having a strong grasp of Biblical principles and a relationship with Jesus Christ as they enter college, marriage and the workforce.
