Enrollment at Greenwood Christian School is open to students in K3 to 12th grade. GCS is accredited by the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS), and AdvancED/Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). GCS is a member of the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA). The school serves families from Abbeville, Anderson, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick and Saluda counties with an August 2023 enrollment of 460 students in K3 through 12th grade.

The school was established in 1992 with a vision shared by Christians in the surrounding areas who recognized the need for an independent non-denominational Christian school. The doors opened in the fall of 1992 with an enrollment of approximately 70 students.

- The application process begins by completing the on-line application with a $120 fee for each student. You will be invited for a family interview and student testing assessment. A $175 enrollment fee is due upon acceptance to complete the enrollment. The application fee is refundable only if space is not available in your grade level.
