GCS Middle School Football Score 7-1 Winning Season

GREENWOOD, SC – For the second consecutive year, Greenwood Christian Middle School football team earned a winning season. The Hawks, led by quarterback Aidan Waters, tailback Jacob Bonetti, fullback John Osborne, outscored their opponents to finish with a 7-1 record. Defensively, the Hawks were anchored by Cade Kagley, Grant Vickery, Matt DuPont, Noah Crowe, Sawyer Evans and Austin Crooks. Other players contributing to the season: Riley, Taylor, Colten Brewer, Joey Urbanic, and the six grade reserves – Jacob Gilmer, Taylor Hedden, Colten Johns, Jake McAllister, Nathan Pettit, Sawyer Sorrow and Garrett Wiley.

GCS is an accredited member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA). The non-denominational school, located at 2026 Woodlawn Rd. in Greenwood, SC, was established in 1992 and serves families from Abbeville, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick and Saluda counties with a current enrollment of more than 310 students in K4 to 12th grade.
